April Point

I've decided to  treat myself to a Yoga Retreat at April Point Resort
in Campbell River .Part of their deal called  Live and Learn.

I was kind of hesitating between Yoga and Fly Fishing......

Beautiful setting and a great instructor : Laura from Denman Island.

The weather was fabulous and we had a great group of women.
One of them,Mary was celebrating her 73rd birthday doing Yoga....

I truly enjoyed the experience.

Ladies and Gentlemen ,Welcome to San Francisco

Aaaah ! The end of April brought me in San Francisco with my sister...
Cool but Sunny.
We rented a little apartment  and had the best meals ever (Thank you Christine)
Golden Bridge  Chinatown and Cable Cars to name just a few of our favorite spots.....

We loved using our MUNI Pass  to get around.
Quite easy and certainly cheap.Worth it.

Loved  the  shopping.....

Loved the Chinatown....

Loved the weather....

Golden Bridge Park with its Japanese Garden was
soooo lovely......

What a beautiful and fantastic city :)    And what a great travel partner I had :)

Seattle in February

George and decided to go spend a week-end in Seattle for the Boat Show.
We were lucky enough to have a SUNNY week-end.

We stayed in a great little hotel on a Pier... right on the water...
We got to taste delicious food at the Pike Market
And found the best little Café Restaurant for breakfast  with
café au lait  and fresh baguette Mmmmm!(Le Pichet)
Quel Plaisir !

New Orleans

I kind of neglected my blog lately, but I have to mention my trip to New Orleans before Christmas.

George was going to New Orleans for recurrent training and decided that we should
make it a  last minute  mini vacation.
So, after a  few shift swap with  Zoë( thanks again  soooo much,) ,we had enough day to make it worth our while.
What a wonderful out of the ordinary place.
We  both      enjoyed  taking in the sounds and craziness of Bourbon Street  at night and get totally
immersed in the New Orleans Cuisine .It was totally magical.
I just LOVED  the French Quarters, never got tired of it.
We stayed at a great hotel at the border of the French Quarters with view on the river.
Just idyllic.And so much fun!
Music and Food and a fewTequila shots   :)
